We know you depend on us to create footwear that keeps you and your family comfortable and protected at work and outside. We stand behind all KEEN footwear and guarantee it to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase.
We also have a team of KEEN Fitters ready to help you find your best fit. And with our 30-day return policy for purchase made on KOL or at a KEEN Garage, you can try them out to make sure they’re right for you.
Please note: Items purchased with a warranty code or Pro discount must be returned in new, unworn condition to be eligible for a return.
What’s covered?
All KEEN footwear purchased in North America is covered for one year from the date of purchase against defects in original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship.
A valid proof of purchase from an authorized retailer is required.
What’s not covered?
• Normal Wear & Tear: Pronation, worn soles, scuffs, creasing, and natural breakdown of materials over time
• Improper Care & Misuse: Use outside of intended purpose, poor storage conditions, damage from pets, exposure to direct heat, chemicals, or extreme weather, and any modifications or alterations
• Product Lifespan: Footwear will naturally wear over time, and lifespan will vary depending on use and conditions, and is not considered a manufacturing defect
• Cosmetic Damage: Fading, stains, discoloration, frayed laces, scuffs, yellowing, scratches, or pronation-related fabric wear
• Fit & Comfort: Sizing issues or discomfort that do not impact the performance of the product
• Purchase from Unauthorized Dealer: Products purchased from auction sites, liquidators, consignment shops, private sellers, sales samples, promotional products, or final sale/warehouse sales
• Laces, lace hardware and insoles are not covered by our warranty
How it works
If you believe your product has a defect, you can submit a warranty claim at keenfootwear.ca. Simply complete our online claims form and provide the requested information, along with proof of purchase (receipt, order confirmation, or credit card statement with personal information blacked out) showing the date of purchase.
If your claim is approved at KEEN’s discretion, you will receive as your sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty a single-use discount code equal to your original purchase price to use on keenfootwear.ca or another remedy as required by law.
For discount codes:
• Must be used in one transaction
• Any unused value will not be retained
• Cannot be combined with other promotions
• Code only works on single item purchases
• Expires 6 months from the issue date

Warranty claims do not result in cash refunds except where required by law.
It’s easy:
1) Gather all necessary information
• Product tag number or style name
• Colour(s)
• Men’s, women’s, or kids’
• Description of the defect
• Photos of:
• The defect
• The full product
• The product tag (size label)
• Date and place of purchase (attach image of receipt)
2) Sign in or create a keenfootwear.ca account and access the online claim form
3) Complete and submit the online claim form
4) A warranty expert will review your claim and respond within 7–10 business days
Additional Details
• Each claim is carefully reviewed by our warranty team in accordance with our policy guidelines
• KEEN is not responsible for any costs or damages incurred due to loss of use of the product
• Warranty discount codes cannot be combined with additional discounts
• Cash refunds must be obtained through the original place of purchase
• All KEEN warranty decisions are made at KEEN’s sole discretion and are final.
