Tying the Knot With Two White Cords

My brother and sister-in-law have been fans of KEEN since I started working here in 2017. We often visit our stores in Japan together, and they wear their favorite KEEN shoes, especially UNEEK. They planned their wedding ceremony in Oahu, Hawaii, last year, but my husband was seriously sick at that time and we could not attend.

We thought about how to celebrate them. We knew that they wanted to wear Hawaiian-themed outfits, so I had an idea: I gifted both families white UNEEK sandals so I could "be there" in some way.

They were so happy, and the shoes coordinated very well with their dress and tuxedo. During the ceremony, the photographer liked the newlyweds' style very much, and he focused on their shoes in the photos. We were sad that we could not be there, but he carried their happiness over the sea. We were so glad to see these pictures.

Editors note: There were lots of awwwwws heard around the office when this story came in from Japan! We are honored that our shoes—white UNEEK sandals—were part of such a special moment for these families. Congratulations to the happy couple!
